“TO CELEBRATE & TO SHARE JESUS!”
Jesus Christ came with a simple message that is as relevant today, as it has always been. He said,
“Its time; God’s kingdom is here. Change your life and believe the Message”
(Mark 1:15 – The Message)
Jesus summed up the mission he was on, like this,
“God’s Spirit is on me; he’s chosen me to preach the Message of good news to the poor; he’s sent me to announce pardon to prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to set the burdened and battered free, and to announce, “This is God’s year to act”!
(Luke 4:19 – The Message)
Jesus then set about demonstrating his message by the kind and courageous way he interacted with people.

“Where does the Methodist Church fit into all this?”
Our purpose and intention is to share the Good News about Jesus Christ – that God loves you, is interested in your life and wants you to get to know him.
We do this by:-
- being together in worship and celebration times; by reading, talking and thinking
about the words of Jesus, and by inviting you to be part of all of this;
We also share the Good News by putting Jesus’ teachings into practice as we:- - care about, and offer help and support, to people
- by caring about our environment, and;
- by caring and praying for world-wide issues of concern.
Through it all, we want people to know that Jesus is alive and that God is Love – FOR ALL PEOPLE!
